Couples Who Choose to Elope.

Eloping is the greatest gift a couple can give to their friends and family, and I'm all for it. I've never understood why anyone would be upset if their friends decided to run off and get hitched without telling everyone. If you know people who love each other but aren't going to make you sit through a three-hour ceremony while they ramble on about it, then you have some awesome friends.
Weddings are annoying. The food sucks, and if neither person is willing to spring for an open bar, it's a sure sign that the marriage itself is going to fail. Everyone should elope then come back and throw a big party, because the only part of a wedding that anybody looks forward to in the first place is getting drunk enough to have an excuse to roll around in a hotel suite with someone's hot second cousin

Peace and War

Everyone agrees we want peace on earth. but why is peace is harder to get to then war?  Nothing that I can do will change the structure of the universe. But maybe, by raising my voice I can help the greatest of all causes.  people always quote, “peace on earth.”  but its more like earth in peices.  “In each of us, there lies a divine connection to a power more powerful than hate or violence.  I think that people want peace so much that one of these days government had better get out of their way and let them have it.  It is an unfortunate fact that we can secure peace only by preparing for war.  Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

Did you know?

Did you know that gravity is weaker in North America than it is in Europe, East Asia, Australia, and North Africa?  Well, I didn't.  Apparently it's because Earth is not a perfect sphere, and its interior mass is not evenly distributed. There are slight variations of gravitational pull depending on where on Earth’s surface you are.

Did you know plant-eating dinosaurs did not eat grass, because there wasn’t any – so it is thought. During the Mesozoic Era, when the dinosaurs lived, conifers – cone-bearing trees and shrubs – dominated the landscape. They included redwoods, yews, pines, palms, cypress and the monkey puzzle tree. Flowering plants and grass evolved only later. By the way, a plant does not look like its parents, but will always resemble its grandparents.

The most important relationship is with yourself

“Later that day I got to thinking about
relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic,
those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those
that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you
started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and
significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you
can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous."

Love

I read once that the ancient Eqyptians had fifty words for sand and Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish i had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move up against me while you sleep. and there are no words for that.

Proverbs 3:3

Don't lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.
Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.
Earn a reputation for living well
in God's eyes and the eyes of the people.

Somebody had "Proverbs 3:3" Written on there back window of there car the other night and i noticed it in a parking lot, so i saved the verse and checked it out. i thought it was a good one so i thought i would share it with my imaginary readers. I think it sends out a good message.
