If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all

I remember in the 8th grade me and some friends were planning a slumber party. At the time I lived with my aunt and uncle. We were all trying to figure out whose house it was going to be at and they all said "their 'parents' wouldn't let them have that many people stay over", so I said "mine would". My friend quickly responded "Tabi you don't have parents." I will never forget how embarrassed/upset/hurt that made me feel.

I guess what I am trying to get at here is that you should really think about the things you say before you say them. Because some things really do vividly stay in your minds forever. People these days always try to find others biggest weaknesses and use them against them, not knowing that it can really affect someone.

So please think of what you say before you say it. If you can't say nothing nice, don't say anything at all.

Sonnet XVII

I love you without knowing
how, or when, or from where.
i love you straightforwardly.
without complexities or pride
so i love you because i know
no other way that this:
where I does not exist, nor you.
so close that your hand,
on my chest is my hand.
so close that your eyes close
as i fall asleep.

Meth Capital

I'm sure meth is a huge issue but I do wonder why so many towns seem eager to
call themselves the meth capital of whatever state. The way they carry on about
it I expect it won't be to long before you see it on city limits signs (now with
even more meth labs per square mile!)

Random Thought.
